Every Summer a small group of pre-A owners from all over Europe get together for the annual European pre-A meeting.
This totally friendly and informal event is led by Albert Häfner. Each year, one of the participants organises the weekend to show the others his country, his roads and his culture…
After Spain, Sweden, Italy, England and France, Sion and central Valais was the destination for 2017, organised by Bernard and Marion. 28 pre-A showed up on August 24th-27th (the event is limited to 25-30 cars to stay friendly) from all around: Portugal, Spain, England, Holland, Belgium, Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland of course, and even USA! The cars drove around Sion, Val d’Hérens, Ayent, went to Arolla, visited the Grande Dixence and Rawyl dams, as well as the castle of Valère above Sion. The optional Sunday program included a visit to the Gianadda Foundation with the Cézanne exhibition and a souvenir photograph in the Roman amphitheater.
Next year the pre-A meeting will take place in Gmünd for the 70’s anniversary of the first 356.
